DAY ONE
~ Special Guest Speaker: To be announced soon! ~ Getting to know Karen Tran: her story, challenges and triumph. ~ Creating A Signature Style Wedding ~ You will learn how to create an unforgettable style that is will appeal to today’s luxury market. ~ Using Social Media to advance your business: Which platform works best for you?
DAY TWO
~ Grand Scale Floral design ~ In every wedding space there is a feature floral piece. The flower wall, flower entrance or over size hanging florals. We will incorporate one of these spectacular element into our program. Attendees will receive hands-on experience in creating these artwork. Learn to incorporate large piece items into your design to capture the luxury market.
DAY THREE
~ Designing a ‘Karen Tran’ wedding. We will work on creating an ‘over the top’ floral pieces using luxurious linens, fine china, custom stationery and fresh flowers to produce an opulent table setting. We will return to this spectacular setting to dine with new industry friends. The Gala is promised to be extravagant for all our fabulous attendees to enjoy. Theme to be announced.
Marketing and Branding: In addition to learning techniques and the mechanics behind all the designs, we will discuss how to refine your brand to target the luxury market. Using all social media platforms to elevate your brand and your business.
The floral experience starts at
9:00am each day. Cost of event includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner each day. Also an opening party dinner on the beach and a spectacular Gala dinner

My interest in photography rose at a very early age, through my mom, and I have felt passionate about it ever since. I’m a professional wedding photographer based in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. I have been living in Playas del Coco for over 9 years, and specializing in destination wedding photography for over 10 years. I love natural light. I love that you will never experience the same light twice, and I take this to my advantage to create unique photographs for my clients. I get inspired by the different sunsets, beaches, and venues; and of course by the couples that simply shine on this special day. Nadia Duran began her career in the Weddings & Events Industry in Sydney from a small workspace in her home in 2006. It began with a vision to create beautiful memories for her clients wanting a stress free planning process. She built her career on the rentals of event décor including furniture, floral design and luxury linens, which remain an essential element of the now business Events by Nadia. Nadia has traveled extensively around the world over the last decade which inspires her and significantly influences her decorating style. Her team now consists of 30 employees and is built with great people who simply love what they do and deliver beyond expectations. Her company, Events by Nadia, has become synonymous with extraordinary events around Australia. From styling beautiful weddings, corporate affairs, charity galas to intimate dinners. Nadia’s mission is to constantly evolve and add innovative new pieces to the range and never limit herself to a particular theme or style.
